Redshift Sports

Redshift Sports was founded in 2013 by a team of mechanical engineers who also happen to be avid cyclists. From the beginning, we've focused on taking a different approach to product development - drawing on our own experiences and needs tocreate components that make a meaningful difference to the riding experience.

Prior to starting Redshift Sports, the founders worked in a wide range of industries, from designing medical devices and baby strollers, to large-scale landmine clearance equipment and military aircraft. We drew on this extensive design, prototyping and manufacturing experience to bring ourcurrent line of products to market.

In June 2013, we launched the Switch Aero System on Kickstarter, a crowd-funding platform that lets independent backers jump-start small businesses and projects. The response was overwhelming - people loved the idea of maximizing the versatility of their existing road bikes, and Redshift was born.

In the years since, we have been busy bringing new and innovative products to market, such as the ShockStop Suspension System with ShockStop Stem (2016) and ShockStop Seatpost (2019).All of our products are designed, tested, and hand-assembled in our Philadelphia warehouse, where we maintain an uncompromising dedication to quality and customer service.
